Project Wisteria is a data collection project designed to support the development of next-generation physical AI and robotics systems through real-world video recordings of everyday household activities.

What You’ll Do

Record yourself performing everyday household tasks while wearing a head-mounted recording device.

Activities may include:

• Organizing kitchen cabinets and groceries
• Folding, sorting, and arranging laundry
• Cleaning countertops and washing dishes
• Cleaning bathrooms and household surfaces
• Unpacking items and general home organization
• Pouring drinks and performing routine household activities

All recordings must be captured in authentic residential settings and reflect natural, meaningful task execution.

Project Requirements

• Must currently reside in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a device capable of recording video at 1080p resolution or higher (e.g., smartphone or action camera).
• Must have a dedicated head-mount accessory capable of securely positioning the camera at forehead or eye level.
• Must have access to a residential environment suitable for recording household activities.

Recording Requirements

Participants must ensure:

• Full visibility of arms, hands, and fingers throughout the recording.
• Tasks are completed naturally and intentionally.
• No excessive idle time, passive activity, or repetitive motions.
• Videos are recorded in real home environments such as kitchens, living rooms, and laundry areas.
• Footage is authentic and not generated, staged in laboratory settings, or artificially created.

Payment Details

This is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen.

• Compensation is based on the successful completion of a one-hour recording session.
• Each one-hour household activity session is considered one completed task.
• Payment is subject to at least 98% video quality acceptance.
• Proportional payment may be provided for approved recordings under the one-hour threshold.
• Incomplete sessions will not be compensated.
• Videos that do not meet project guidelines or quality standards will not be eligible for payment.

2. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen to create your account.
3. Log in, reset your password, and complete the onboarding requirements.
4. Review the project guidelines and recording requirements.
5. Begin participating and submitting qualifying recordings.

Important Note

This project follows a first-come, first-served approach and operates with demographic quotas to ensure fair and balanced representation across participant groups.

As a result, some individuals may not receive a task assignment if their demographic group has already reached capacity. This helps maintain diversity and prevents over-representation within the project.
