We’re looking for an organized, self-motivated Legal Operations Assistant to support Tether’s Expansion Strategies. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the Head of Expansion, covering his responsibilities when he is unavailable. You should be comfortable with internal operations, taking minutes during meetings, distributing and forwarding mail as needed, and preparing and filing relevant documents.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills and be able to manage multiple tasks at once. Ideal candidates bring excellent organizational abilities, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**
– Manage and organize legal documents and files, ensuring they are properly filed and easy to access.
– Schedule meetings and conferences (in person and virtual) with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals.
– Assist with billing and invoicing by tracking expenses and payments and ensuring billing policies are followed.
– Coordinate with external partners such as outside counsel, vendors, and government agencies.
– Conduct legal research to support attorneys and legal teams in case preparation.
– Help draft legal documents, including investment agreements, MoUs, contracts, and other types of agreements.
– Maintain legal databases and ensure they are current and accurate.
– Provide administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
– Support compliance with legal requirements and regulations, including data privacy and security.
– Assist in managing the legal department’s technology, including software tools and hardware.
– A background with an LLM in Law and Economics or related study, with knowledge or specialization in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
– Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Operations Assistant is preferred.
– Strong organizational and administrative skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Georgian.
– Proficiency with Google Suite.
– Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
– Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Familiarity with legal operations and project management methodologies is a plus.
