Who You Are
Our Talent team ensures that brightwheel has the people needed to advance high‑quality early education for all children. We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our growing team and manage full‑cycle hiring for a variety of business roles.
You will partner closely with leaders across the company, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and designing targeted recruitment strategies for critical positions. You communicate clearly, build trust, and confidently advocate for decisions that elevate our talent pool. You are organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of independently running a consistent, efficient process that keeps all partners aligned. You regularly use data to spot opportunities and implement improvements. You care deeply about delivering an exceptional candidate experience and building an inclusive, equitable hiring process. You are driven, collaborative, and comfortable managing full‑cycle hiring for multiple role types.
What You’ll Do
• Lead ambitious hiring efforts for high‑volume sales and customer success roles
• Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs, craft recruitment strategies, and adjust your approach through ongoing feedback
• Build strong, diverse candidate pipelines by engaging passive talent and finding creative ways to reach high‑potential candidates and generate referrals
• Run an efficient, equitable, and thoughtful hiring process that supports brightwheel’s growth while maintaining a high talent bar
• Conduct interviews, evaluate exercises, and complete reference checks as needed
• Use data to shape and refine recruitment strategies, assess pipeline health, track key metrics, and stay aligned with hiring managers
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, support quality hiring decisions, and persuade top candidates to join brightwheel
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience grounded in inclusive hiring practices
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting systems and processes, and lead the rollout of enhancements
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
• At least 2 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience across varied roles in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong relationship‑building skills and trusted partnership with hiring managers
• Effective screening and interviewing abilities with consistently sound judgment
• Analytical approach with the ability to use data to inform and improve your work
• Commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams, supported by thoughtful strategies and pipelines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive or complex conversations
• Resourceful, adaptable problem‑solver with persistence, creativity, and a customer‑focused mindset
• Ownership mentality with a drive to continually improve processes and results
Brightwheel is dedicated to pay equity and offers a competitive compensation package. This temporary contract role pays $40.00 per hour across all U.S. locations.
