The STEM Program is expanding its reach by broadening engagement in science, technology, engineering, math, and health fields. By connecting education, mentorship, and community resources, the program inspires youth, families, and professionals to explore and lead in these areas, fostering skill development, confidence, and leadership to shape the future of health and STEM.

POSITION DESCRIPTION The STEM Associate is a part-time position (20 hours per week) that supports the coordination and implementation of Pathways to Science: A Role Model and Mentoring Program, based in Orlando, Florida. The program increases awareness of health and STEM career pathways through role model talks, immersive field trips, and mentorship experiences.

Reporting to the STEM Program Manager, the Associate plays a key role in coordinating the mentorship program, managing administrative tasks, and supporting program implementation and partner engagement in Central Florida. The role supports bilingual (Spanish-English) engagement to inspire youth and families to explore health and STEM fields, fostering professional connections that encourage mentorship and leadership development.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES Program Administration and Grant Support

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for program deliverables, including scheduling, contracts, payment requests, reimbursements, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain organized records across Google Drive, https://monday.com, Salesforce, and other digital tools.
