The Senior Information Security Analyst, Incident Detection and Response serves as the first line of defense in identifying attacks againstPhreesia’speople, critical business processes, and information assets. This position will manage and expand robust incident detection, analysis, and response capabilities to defendPhreesia’sassets.
Our Central Information Security Team are highly hands-on and you will have many opportunities to gain intimate knowledge of Phreesia’susers, customers and architecture. What you will do:
Working as a key member ofPhreesia’sInformation Security team, the Sr. Information Security Analyst wears multiple hats: Product Manager, Security Engineer,andSecurity Analyst.
Identify top security threats toPhreesia’sassetsand reduce security monitoringand incident preventionblind-spots
Identify, automate collectionof, and analyze threat information from security monitoring tools, distribution lists, and intelligence feeds
First responderand leadto investigateinformation security events,incidents, and breaches
Developlog sources,alerts, searches, and dashboards to identify security incidents
Provide coverage as part of 24×7 incident response rotation and respond to emergencies
Manage Security Product roadmaps toelevatePhreesia’sdefenses
Conduct Incident Response table-top exercisesand tests, incorporating lessons learned from incidents
Collect and publishweekly andmonthly qualitative and quantitative key risk indicators (KRIs)andrelatedkey performance indicators (KPIs)
Develop and maintain response procedures and processes for security incidents that occur (ex.malware remediation)
In partnership with operational teams, configureandadministersecurity systems and tools
What you will need:
7+ yearsprogressiveexperienceleadingincident detection and responseorsecurityoperations
Experiencebuilding and maintaining SIEM queries,SQL,alerts, and dashboards
Experiencewithserverand network configuration and management
Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
Highly developedprioritization, triage, and communication skills
Excellentknowledge of Information Securityprinciples, frameworks, and technologies
Engineering, computer science, or other technical undergraduate degree
In-depthexperience withSumoLogictoolsa plus
