Piton Labs is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first hire for this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in the GMT‑8 (US Pacific) to GMT‑3 time zones, but we may consider applicants from other time zones depending on the circumstances.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from identifying and reaching out to prospects through to closing deals—supported by the founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but a solid foundation in software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Identifying and contacting new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering demos and presentations to show how our solution addresses customer challenges

**General Requirements**
• English proficiency at a native level
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally with a background in the technology industry
• Proven ability to create new business
**Remote Work Policy**
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Priority for candidates in the United States with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap with US East Coast time by 4–6 hours on most working days
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed work location
