Piton Labs is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative as we enter the next phase of our growth. As the first person we hire for this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates located in time zones GMT‑8 (US Pacific) through GMT‑3, but we may consider applications from other time zones depending on the circumstances.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from identifying and reaching out to prospects through closing deals—with support from the founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but strong fundamentals in software development and the tech ecosystem will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and contacting new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs in meetings, industry events, and conferences
• Developing and executing targeted business strategies for key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering demos and presentations to show how our solution addresses customer challenges

**General requirements**
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally with experience in the tech industry
• Proven ability to create new business opportunities
**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote, with no physical office
• Priority for candidates in the United States with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap the US East Coast time zone by 4–6 hours on most weekdays
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed work location
