Piton Labs is looking for a highly driven Business Development Representative to help us enter our next phase of expansion. As the first person in this role, you will play a critical part in growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in the GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) to GMT-3 time zone range, though we may consider other regions depending on circumstances.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—supported by the founding team. You don’t need a deep technical background, but a solid foundation in software development and general knowledge of the technology industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.

Your core responsibilities include:
• Identifying and proactively reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer needs and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong customer and partner relationships through regular communication
• Clearly presenting and demonstrating our solutions and how they meet customer needs

You’re highly motivated and have meaningful business development experience. You naturally build lasting relationships and stand out because you:
• Take ownership: you want to own the end-to-end process and drive company growth
• Build connections: you’re skilled at forming partnerships and turning contacts into customers
• Think strategically: you understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
• Understand digital: you’re not an engineer, but you’re technical enough to communicate our value clearly

**General Requirements**
• Fluent English (native level)
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally with a background in the technology industry
• Proven track record of successfully acquiring new customers

**Remote Work Policy**
• 100% remote, no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the United States with work authorization
• Second-tier consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Able to overlap with U.S. Eastern Time by 4–6 hours on most workdays
• Suitable for digital nomads (no fixed location required)
