Aledade is looking for a Project Coordinator to help manage several CMMI programs while delivering top-tier customer service. In this position, the coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely payment processing for adjudicated claims from CMS and incentive payments. The person in this role should be well‑versed in revenue cycle operations and the claims submission process.

Key responsibilities include processing payments, keeping organized records, calculating billing totals, and assisting participating practices and Aledade staff with questions about claim payments. This role requires knowledge of medical billing and coding, particularly payment processing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to collaborate with internal and external partners, manage payment schedules, support project goals, and maintain clear communication.

The position allows for flexible location within the United States, with the option to work remotely or from the Bethesda, MD office.

Primary Duties:
• Process adjudicated claims from CMS and identify or resolve any issues
• Confirm demographic information in the system for accuracy
• Work with practices, third‑party vendors, and team members to correct inconsistencies or errors
• Assist with validating check runs prior to financial distribution
• Respond to customer questions regarding assigned accounts
• Help complete projects while managing multiple priorities
• Participate in system testing after upgrades or rate changes

Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong experience in accounts receivable and knowledge of Medicare billing
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPC level II coding guidelines
• Ability to interpret healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, the False Claims Act, the Fair Debt Collections Act, and Stark Law
• Experience with ambulatory practice billing workflows
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in billing and coding
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred KSAs:
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Over seven years of billing and coding experience
• Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, Jira, and Tableau
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Minimum education: high school diploma; bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field preferred
• Certification such as CPC, CPB, or a comparable credential

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to travel up to 5% as needed

Salary Range: $50,000–$59,000 base salary plus bonus and equity
Compensation will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
