Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized self-starter to join our regulatory licensing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the cryptocurrency sector and is eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic, fast-evolving business environment.
Success in this role requires a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, including gaining insight into the company’s products and services, blockchain technology, virtual currencies, and global regulatory environments. You will focus on translating regulatory requirements across jurisdictions into clear, actionable tasks and will manage communications and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. You will collaborate with project managers and other team members to drive licensing initiatives worldwide. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
– Oversee regulatory licensing projects from initial planning through completion.
– Participate in regulatory consultation processes in various countries and prepare responses that reflect the organization’s global policy stance.
– Collaborate internally to develop and convey policy positions on key organizational issues.
– Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, business leaders, and teams such as risk management, compliance, legal, finance, technology, as well as with regulators.
Job Requirements
– Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and research skills.
– Solid understanding of, or strong interest in learning about, the crypto industry and its products.
– Experience in a regulatory, legal, or compliance-related consulting role.
– Native-level English proficiency, or a background in languages or related studies. Outstanding writing skills are essential.
– A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
– Strong work ethic.
– Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– At least 3 years of professional experience in regulatory advisory, compliance, policy, or legal roles within financial services (for example, at a financial institution or consulting firm).
– Strong understanding of the company’s platform, products, and services is required.
– Knowledge of the cryptocurrency or blockchain sector is an advantage.
