Welocalize is looking for experienced, highly skilled Vietnamese-to-English translators to join our Life Sciences program, specializing in Pharmacovigilance. This is an exciting opportunity to translate essential medical and clinical materials, supporting global health and safety efforts.

In this role, you will ensure accurate, timely delivery of translations despite tight deadlines. Many assignments are time-sensitive and require quick turnaround times to meet client expectations while maintaining the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**
– Translate documents from Vietnamese (vi-VN) to English (en-GB/en-US) with a focus on pharmacovigilance content.
– Complete Translation, Copy Editing (CE), and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) tasks as needed, ensuring quality and consistency.
– Meet strict deadlines, especially for projects received during EU close-of-business hours, with deliveries required early the next morning.
– Use the client-provided XTM CAT tool (license provided).
– Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability to meet client expectations and deliver assignments on time.

**Requirements**
– Proven experience in translation, copy editing, and MTPE for pharmacovigilance or similar Life Sciences content.
– Fluency in Vietnamese (source) and native-level English (target), with the ability to work with both en-GB and en-US as required.
– Availability during US business hours (location can be anywhere).
– Strong attention to detail, consistency, and dedication to meeting deadlines under time-sensitive conditions.
– Familiarity with CAT tools, particularly XTM (training provided if needed).
– Ability to handle sensitive, technical content with confidentiality and accuracy.

**Bonus if You Have**
– Experience with high-volume, time-critical translation projects.
– Strong background in pharmacovigilance, medical, or pharmaceutical content.
– Prior experience working in collaborative environments with strict client guidelines.
– A proven record of professionalism and reliability in previous roles.

$15–$20 per hour
