The Implementation Manager oversees the end-to-end implementation of our SaaS solutions. By partnering closely with clients, this role ensures a seamless onboarding experience, promotes effective cross-functional collaboration internally, and delivers each implementation on schedule and to an exceptionally high standard. The ideal candidate brings strong project and client management skills, excellent communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead full-lifecycle SaaS implementations, from discovery and design through configuration, testing, training, and go-live, ensuring a smooth handover to ongoing client support.
– Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while consistently meeting timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
– Build and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
– Run client workshops, requirements sessions, and solution discussions to understand needs, workflows, and success criteria.
– Advise clients on solution design and configuration choices based on best practices.
– Coordinate internal teams and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and system readiness prior to launch.
– Deliver clear, consistent project status updates and proactively mitigate risks to ensure successful outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Management
– Act as the primary point of contact for client project teams and stakeholders.
– Build strong, relationship-based trust and provide a positive, consultative implementation experience.
– Set clear expectations, communicate project status, and lead effective client meetings and presentations.
– Advocate for client needs internally while balancing project objectives and product capabilities.

Solution Design & Documentation
– Participate in solution design discussions and validate configuration options to meet client goals.
– Document processes, requirements, use cases, and configuration specifications.
– Support internal process improvements and help establish scalable implementation best practices.
– Serve as a sales engineer during early adoption opportunities, supporting Sales and Product in pre-sales and scoping discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Collaborate with Sales to ensure a smooth post-sale handoff and alignment on goals and scope.
– Work closely with Product Development to translate client needs, confirm solution design, and share feedback to improve the product.
– Partner with Client Success to ensure a seamless transition from implementation to long-term support.
– Continuously improve internal onboarding practices and SOPs.

Requirements & Qualifications
– 3–5 years of experience in SaaS implementation, project management, consulting, or a related field.
– Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
– Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
– Experience working with colleges, universities, or the education sector is preferred (but not required).
– Proficiency in project management, including planning, timelines, issue tracking, and risk management.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex requirements.
– Ability to participate in and contribute to solution design discussions.
– Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work toward deadlines.
– Customer-first mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
– Familiarity with agile environments and collaboration with product/engineering teams is a plus.
– Ability to influence and facilitate discussions to drive decisions with clients and internal teams.
– Collaborative mindset across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
