Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations from a remote location. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, managing inventory data, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. You will work closely with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments from origin to destination

  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, or suppliers

  • Track shipments and update stakeholders on status, delays, or changes

  • Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, inventory, and order details

  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies

  • Negotiate rates with carriers and monitor transportation costs

  • Communicate with warehouse teams, vendors, and customers to resolve logistics issues

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels using logistics software or ERP systems

  • Prepare logistics reports and provide updates to management as needed

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred)

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or supply chain management

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with logistics software, Microsoft Excel, and/or ERP systems

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage remote workflows

  • Knowledge of shipping regulations, incoterms, and documentation processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with 3PLs, freight brokers, or international logistics

  • Familiarity with customs documentation and compliance

  • Comfortable working across time zones or with international partners

  • Experience with tools like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or transportation management systems (TMS)
