Piton Labs is seeking a motivated Business Development professional to support our next stage of growth. As the first person to take on this role, you will help expand our customer base and establish new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in time zones between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, though others may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will assist in managing the full sales cycle—from initial outreach through to closing—supported by our founder team. While you don’t need deep technical expertise, having a strong understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you communicate our value effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
– Finding and contacting potential new customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Creating and executing targeted sales strategies for our primary markets (startups and corporate innovation)
– Partnering with the engineering team to share customer needs and market insights
– Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
– Giving presentations and demonstrations that show how our solutions address customer challenges
**ABOUT YOU**
You are results-driven and experienced in Business Development. You build relationships easily and develop them over time. You particularly stand out if you have:

– **Tech awareness:** You’re not an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to clearly explain our value

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
– English proficiency at a native-speaker level
– 4+ years of Business Development experience, ideally in the tech sector
– Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers
**REMOTE WORK**
– Fully remote, with no office location
– Preferred: applicants in the USA with work authorization
– Secondary preference: applicants from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours on most days with US Eastern Time
– Appropriate for digital nomads who do not have a fixed work location
