Join Gopuff as an Inventory Management Data Scientist, where you’ll partner with our In-Stock Development Lead Data Analyst to support product development, guide decision‑making, and analyse product ordering and inventory management. Your work will help us balance outstanding customer experience with strong profitability.

In this role, you’ll drive our rapid growth by creating decision‑support systems and analysing large datasets to improve category performance.

You’ll have the chance to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges while working alongside a skilled UK Data Team and the broader Gopuff Data Community. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

You Will:
• Collaborate with Category and In-Stock Management teams to improve our Stock Ordering Tool and compliance processes, including infrastructure and buying policies.
• Work with the broader Data Team to measure and report availability levels and their impact on revenue and order volume.
• Provide clear insight into the impact and effectiveness of the buying policies built into our Stock Ordering Tool, ensuring we meet targets for expirations and availability.
• Establish dynamic availability and expiration targets for each subcategory.
• Design and evaluate experiments related to Stock Ordering Tool buying policies.
• Conduct deep dives and post‑implementation reviews to identify issues, opportunities, and future experiments related to availability and expirations reporting.

You Have:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytics or data science, ideally in grocery, operations, marketing, or consumer products.
• Strong SQL and database skills, with the ability to write efficient queries for large datasets.
• Experience with dbt, Python, or R is a strong advantage.
• Supply chain analytics experience is a plus.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and experiment design.
