Are you a detail‑driven professional with strong listening and transcription skills? Welo Data is launching a new project and seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Transcribers. In this remote position, you will accurately transcribe audio recordings while adding valuable context through tagging and timestamps. What you will do:
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and produce precise transcriptions.
– Insert timestamps to ensure the text stays aligned with the audio.
– Tag audio with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to enhance project output.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally accurate and reflect the intended tone and meaning.
– Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality.
– Meet deadlines and adhere to specific transcription guidelines and formatting standards.

Project Details
Commitment: Flexible, with a minimum of 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 depending on your availability).
Job Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Requirements:
– Native‑level or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus strong English skills.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic work is highly preferred.
– Ability to recognize regional dialects, emotional cues, and context in audio.
– Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver precise work.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software and the ability to work with timestamps and tags.
– Ability to meet deadlines and consistently produce high‑quality results.
