Your unique background and perspective may be exactly what we need to grow and innovate. Let’s build something great together.

About CEF:
CEF is a global electrical wholesaler known for its wide range of products and strong commitment to customer service. Founded in 1951 in the United Kingdom, it has grown to more than 1,000 locations across the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and beyond.

Our IT teams deliver value through innovative solutions that help our business better serve customers today and in the future. We recognise that technology and data play a central role in driving this progress. To achieve this, we need talented and creative people across all functions to support our evolution over the coming years and beyond—and that’s where you come in.

Job Purpose:
Our new Identity Access Management Auditor will partner with the Governance and Compliance Manager to shape an IAM roadmap and implement tools that enhance our capabilities and user experience. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across CEF to guide and promote IAM best practices, strengthening compliance throughout the organisation. You will serve as the subject matter expert and the main point of contact for all day-to-day Identity Access Management activities, providing support for all related services and processes.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrated experience in Identity Access Management, acting as a trusted advisor to the Governance and Compliance Manager, key stakeholders, and the wider business
• Strong communication skills, supporting the security team in promoting continuous security awareness and training across the company
• Experience implementing, developing, and managing IAM tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Saviynt, or SailPoint
• Ability to develop IAM strategies from discovery and requirements gathering through to deployment
• Willingness to travel to Durham and other UK sites as needed, although the role is primarily home-based

Beneficial Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge or experience with IAM across cloud platforms
• Experience applying information security principles and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, NCSC, and PCI DSS, particularly within a PAM environment

Please Note:
• Due to office closures and reduced staff availability over the Christmas period, application responses may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and will respond as soon as possible.
