About the role:

– Outlier is looking for skilled writers fluent in French to support the training of generative AI models
– This is a remote freelance opportunity with flexible hours, so you can work at times that suit you

You can contribute by:

– Reviewing French text and ranking sets of AI-generated responses
– Writing short French stories on assigned topics
– Checking whether AI-generated French content is factually accurate

Preferred qualifications:

– Professional translation experience
– Experience in professional writing, such as copywriting, journalism, technical writing, or editing
– Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities or writing-related field
– Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in creative writing

Payment:

– Currently, French writing experts typically earn about USD $25 per hour for core project tasks
– Pay varies based on expertise, assessment results, location, project requirements, and other factors. Higher rates may be available for advanced qualifications such as a PhD. Non-core tasks (e.g., onboarding or overtime periods) may be compensated at lower rates. Some projects may also include bonuses. Please review the payment details for each project.
