Help create localized content for the world’s biggest creators—make content a universal language

As a Freelance Subtitler with CreatorGlobal, you’ll play a key role in our transcription and localization teams. Your job will be to create English subtitles for original content, helping our videos reach wider audiences.

About the Role

Are you an experienced subtitling professional who works well in fast-paced environments and enjoys experimenting with non-traditional tools? We’re seeking an English Subtitle Specialist to join our localization team and support an innovative subtitle production workflow for MrBeast content.

In this position, you’ll create, edit, and deliver English subtitles for weekly MrBeast YouTube videos. You’ll manage every stage of the subtitling process to ensure subtitles are delivered on time to CreatorGlobal leadership. You’ll also help refine our developing subtitling workflow by applying your expertise in a production environment that continues to evolve.

Additional duties include managing subtitle versions and revisions, making formatting and content updates, maintaining change logs and transcripts, performing subtitle quality checks, and assisting with ad-hoc subtitling and localization requests.

What You’ll Do

• Create English subtitles for weekly YouTube content, ensuring accurate language and alignment with standard subtitling guidelines.
• Review feedback from team members or leadership and incorporate it into updated subtitles.
• Handle additional needs such as creating subtitle versions, adjusting subtitles to updated video references, and completing subtitle/transcript quality checks.
• Learn and adapt to a proprietary tool that functions like familiar subtitle software while producing specialized formatting.
• Work with a flexible schedule and deliver subtitle files soon after video release.
• Provide clear updates to CreatorGlobal leadership regarding tool problems, inconsistencies, or workflow improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker
• Professional subtitling experience, or related experience such as transcription, dialogue lists, dubbing, AD script writing, subtitling templates, proofreading/editing, and more
• Flexible availability to respond to late requests and start work right after video delivery
• Comfort working with proprietary or non-standard tools
• Interest across disciplines—experience with or genuine curiosity about coding, motion graphics, media production, or UX is a plus
• Knowledge of subtitle formats beyond SRT, such as ASS, VTT, or formats that include embedded style metadata
• Experience with subtitling and video tools such as OOONA, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues clearly
• Strong attention to detail and reliable performance, especially under time constraints
