WordAgents is looking for editors!

WordAgents is an SEO agency with a large team of writers that are constantly creating content.

We need editors who can polish up each article that comes into their queue while offering up constructive feedback to the team.

Are you an experienced writer or editor who can:

Read and interpret client briefing documents?
Use editing tools to support clean and easy-to-read copy?
Identify grammatical, spelling, and other errors even without the use of tools?
Provide thoughtful and kind feedback to writers, even when they miss the mark?

Bonus points for editors that understand the essentials of search engine optimization and keyword usage!

We’re also open to working with writers who have a track record of excellent writing work. If you know how to write well, you can learn how to edit!

What we require:

The ability to edit 3,500 words per hour or more
A commitment of 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday (work weekends only if you want to)
Some overlap with standard business hours in EST (so we can communicate!)
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to learn (or a background in using) various tools and platforms
Contract agreement through Upwork

What we offer:

Starting pay of $16 per hour
Pay increases for higher productivity while hitting quality metrics (up to $20/hour)
