Piton Labs is looking to hire a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to help us launch the next phase of our growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a pivotal part in two key areas: expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We expect candidates to fall within the GMT-8 (West Coast US) to GMT-3 time range, though applicants from other regions may be considered depending on circumstances.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
With support from our founding team, you will participate in the full sales cycle—from first outreach to closing deals. Deep technical expertise isn’t required, but you should have a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry so you can clearly communicate the value of our solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:
– Identifying and reaching out to new potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and specialized conferences/trade shows
– Developing and executing sales strategies tailored to our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
– Partnering with the engineering team to relay customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
– Delivering product demos and presentations to show how our solutions help customers solve their problems

**About you**
You are a driven, experienced business developer with strong relationship-building skills over the long term. Your key strengths include:
– **Full ownership:** You want to lead the process end to end and contribute directly to company growth
– **Relationship building:** You can attract partners and turn your network into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** You understand market dynamics and can effectively position/present the company’s technology
– **Technical awareness:** You may not be an engineer, but you are comfortable in a digital environment and can clearly explain the value of our solutions

**General requirements**
– Fluent English (near-native level)
– At least 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in the tech sector
– Proven, verifiable track record of acquiring new customers

**Remote work**
– Fully remote role with no fixed office location
– Preferred: candidates based in the United States with work authorization
– Second preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap with US Eastern Time by at least 4–6 hours on most working days
– Suitable for those seeking digital work without a fixed workplace
