Role: Overnight Crisis Worker – Lifeline Reports to: Crisis Services Manager of Lifeline Counselors Location: Remote Hours: Full-time

We are a non-profit that provides 24/7 life-saving support via phone, text, and chat. We also operate the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth and run innovative research, education, and advocacy programs. We’ve been saving lives every day for over 20 years.

Overview of the role Our Crisis Workers do the work Trevor was founded to do: they pick up the phone when LGBTQ youth need someone to talk to. TrevorLifeline, the only national crisis intervention and suicide prevention lifeline for LGBTQ young people under 25, operates 24/7 through the hard work of our amazing Crisis Workers. In addition to providing direct crisis counseling, Crisis Workers are responsible for key administrative tasks required to provide high-quality, continuous crisis support.

Please note: Because the Lifeline Crisis Worker role is mission-critical to our organization and because we employ a large number of these positions, we interview for this role even when we don’t have a currently open position.
