About the Role:
Extend’s People Team is hiring a People Operations Coordinator to join the team. This coordinator will be a key partner in managing administrative processes and supporting the People Team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working across multiple teams, and an expert communicator. They can quickly adapt when priorities change and genuinely enjoy helping the People Team move forward. What We Are Looking For:
– 2+ years of experience in a People-related administrative role at a technology company.
– Supports People programs including benefits and leave, disciplinary actions, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and learning and development.
– Handles employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, escalating complex and/or sensitive issues to the appropriate team members.
– Helps develop People goals and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports to meet ongoing company needs.
– Provides responsive and dedicated support to employees regarding leave of absence, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and other employee relations matters.
– Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
– Leads new-hire orientation, delivering People updates and supporting required documentation.
– Ensures consistency in policy formatting.
– Tracks and processes requests for personnel files and documents that may be required for legal claims.
– Participates in special projects and other assigned duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Experience in a high-growth startup environment with constant change, including working as a People Administrator, People Operations Assistant, or similar role.
– Strong values and purpose-driven leadership.
– Strong problem-solving, reporting, and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
– Relevant certifications such as SHRM are a plus.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
– Resourcefulness, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of People procedures and policies.
$60,000 — $90,000 per year
