Piton Labs is seeking to hire a dedicated Business Development Representative as we move into the next stage of our growth. As our first hire in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based in time zones between GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT-3 are strongly preferred, though other candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
## Responsibilities and Expectations
You will be involved in the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals—with support from the founders’ team. While deep technical expertise is not required, a solid understanding of software development and the tech landscape will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and contacting potential clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Developing and executing tailored sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Working closely with the engineering team to translate customer needs and insights
• Building and maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that show how our solutions address customer challenges

## General Requirements
• Fluent English at a native level
• At least 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in a tech company
• Proven ability to generate new business
## Remote Work Policy
• Fully remote—no physical office
• Preference for U.S. candidates with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with Eastern Time in most days
