Piton Labs is looking for an engaged, responsible Business Development Representative to help drive our next growth chapter. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a critical part in expanding our customer portfolio and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based between GMT-8 (US West Coast) and GMT-3 are preferred, but applicants from other regions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

### Responsibilities and Expectations
You’ll own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals—with support from the founder team. Deep technical expertise isn’t required, but a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to prospective customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
– Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and innovation teams within companies)
– Working closely with the engineering team to relay customer needs and insights
– Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent communication
– Delivering presentations and demos that show how our solutions meet customer requirements

### About You
You’re highly motivated and have proven success in business development. You stand out for:
– Ownership: You manage end-to-end processes and contribute to the company’s strategic direction
– Relationship-building: You create partnerships and convert contacts into customers
– Strategic thinking: You understand market trends and can position our technology effectively
– Technical understanding: You’re not an engineer, but you know the digital landscape well enough to clearly communicate our value

### Basic Requirements
– English proficiency at a native level
– Four or more years of business development experience, ideally in a tech company
– Proven success in acquiring new customers

### Remote Work Guidelines
– Fully remote—no physical office
– Preference for candidates legally authorized to work in the USA
– Second preference for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap four to six hours with US East Coast time on most workdays
– Suitable for digital nomads—no fixed residence required
