Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative to join us in our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our client base and building new strategic partnerships. We prioritize candidates based between GMT‑8 (U.S. Pacific Time) and GMT‑3, though exceptional candidates in other regions will be considered individually.
Responsibilities and expectations
You will be involved in the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, with support from the founding team throughout. A deep technical background isn’t required, but a basic understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential clients.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and business meetings
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer insights and needs
• Maintaining strong client relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that show how our solutions address client challenges

You are proactive, have a solid background in business development, and excel at building and maintaining relationships. You stand out because you:

Requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, preferably in a tech company
• Proven ability to generate new business
Remote work policy
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Preference for candidates legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Secondary preference for candidates based in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Availability to overlap 4–6 hours with U.S. Eastern Time on most workdays
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no fixed location requirement
