Piton Labs is looking for a highly motivated business development professional to help us launch our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in two areas: growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in the time range GMT-8 (West Coast of the United States) to GMT-3; candidates from other regions may be considered depending on circumstances.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
With the support of our founding team, you will take part in the full sales process—from initial outreach through to closing. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but you should have a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry so you can clearly communicate our value.

Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to new potential customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences/trade shows
– Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our key markets (startups and innovation within enterprises)
– Partnering with the engineering team to share customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
– Conducting product demos and presentations to show how our solutions help clients solve their problems

**About you**
You are driven and experienced in business development. You know how to build relationships and sustain them over the long term. You have strengths such as:
– **Ownership:** you want to lead the end-to-end process and contribute to company growth
– **Relationship building:** you can attract partners and turn your network into customers
– **Strategic thinking:** you understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
– **Technical culture:** you may not be an engineer, but you’re comfortable in a digital environment and can clearly communicate our value

**General requirements**
– Native-level English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in the technology sector
– Proven and verifiable track record in acquiring new customers

**Remote work**
– Fully remote, with no fixed office location
– Preferred: candidates based in the United States, with work authorization
– Secondary: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to cover the advanced Eastern Time (ET) hours of the US, with a 4–6 hour overlap for most working days
– Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed workplace
