Piton Labs is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support our next stage of expansion. As the first person in this role, you will be crucial to growing our customer base and forming new strategic partnerships. Candidates based between GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT-3 are preferred, though others may be considered case by case.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will participate in the entire sales process—from identifying prospects to closing deals—supported by our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a solid understanding of software development and the broader tech landscape will help you communicate our value effectively to prospective customers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Finding and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Creating and executing focused sales strategies for our main markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Partnering with the engineering team to share customer insights and feedback
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication
• Clearly explaining and demonstrating our solutions and how they address customer needs

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
• Native or near-native English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in a technology-focused role
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers
**TELEWORK POLICY**
• Fully remote with no in-person office requirement
• Preference for candidates in the United States with work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to maintain a 4–6 hour overlap with the East Coast time zone on most days
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no need for a fixed work location
