Piton Labs is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to help us enter our next stage of expansion. As the first person in this role, you will be essential to growing our customer base and establishing new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates in the GMT-8 (U.S. West Coast) to GMT-3 time zone range, though we may consider other locations depending on circumstances.
**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will participate in the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—with support from the founding team. You don’t need to be highly technical, but a strong understanding of software development and the technology industry will help you explain our value clearly to potential customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Proactively identifying and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences
• Creating and executing focused sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Partnering with the engineering team to share customer needs and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong customer and partner relationships through consistent communication
• Presenting and demonstrating our solutions and how they address customer needs

You are highly driven and have relevant business development experience. You naturally build long-term relationships and stand out because you:

**General Requirements**
• Fluent English (native level)
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in the technology sector
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers
**Remote Work Policy**
• 100% remote; no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the United States with work authorization
• We will also consider candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay as a secondary option
• Must be able to overlap with U.S. Eastern Time by 4–6 hours on most workdays
• Ideal for digital nomads (no fixed location required)
