Piton Labs is seeking a highly driven Business Development professional to help us launch our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in two areas: expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We prioritize candidates in the GMT-8 (US West Coast) to GMT-3 time zone range; candidates from other regions may be considered depending on the situation.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
With support from the founding team, you will participate in the full sales process—from initial outreach to closing. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but you should have a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry so you can clearly communicate our value.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to potential new customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences/expos
– Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to pass along customer needs and market feedback
– Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
– Delivering demos and product presentations to show how our solutions help customers solve their problems
**About you**
You are motivated and experienced in business development. You’re skilled at building relationships and sustaining them over the long term. You especially have the following strengths:

– **Strategic thinking:** You understand market dynamics and can effectively position our technology

**General requirements**
– English at a native level
– 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in the tech sector
– Proven, verifiable results in acquiring new customers
**Remote work**
– Fully remote, no fixed office location
– Preferred: applicants based in the United States, with work authorization
– Secondary: applicants from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap with US Eastern Time by 4–6 hours on most workdays
– Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed workplace
