Do you need ATP or CTP?
Breeze will cover the costs of the ATP Certification Training Program, including tuition, flights, and lodging. Here’s what you’ll do:
– Obtain and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the aircraft equipment, Federal Aviation Regulations governing its operation, and company manuals, operations specifications, policies, and other instructions.
– Work with the Captain to properly plan each flight using all applicable weather information and reports, company policies, and FARs.
– Be responsible for and qualified for the assigned flight, including flight and duty time limits, training, proficiency checks, medical certification, and related requirements.
– Perform any in-flight duties the Captain assigns.
– Assess risk effectively and use the appropriate resources to keep risk at an acceptable level during all phases of ground and flight operations.
– Apply CRM practices, including “Assertiveness with Respect.”
– Maintain a high level of proficiency and a deep knowledge of flight operations, procedures, and systems applicable to the aircraft flown.
– Continue technical and professional development in preparation for transition to Pilot in Command (PIC).
– Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
– Complete pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure assigned aircraft are airworthy in line with company policy and FARs.
– Review current and forecasted departure, arrival, and (if applicable) alternate station weather prior to every flight.
– Assist with and ensure proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at terminals where other company personnel are not available.
– Follow the Rules of Conduct outlined in the company Team Member Playbook and Pilot Playbook.
Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications – Unrestricted ATP (1,500 Hours)
– Must be at least 23 years old at the time of hire.
– Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
– Must have at least 1,500+ total hours (excluding simulator and/or flight engineer time).
– Must have a minimum:
– 750 hours fixed wing
– 500 hours cross-country
– 250 hours fixed wing PIC
– 100 hours night
– 75 hours instrument
– 25 hours of actual multi-engine flying
Minimum Qualifications – Restricted ATP (1,250 Hours)
– Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
– Associate degree in an aviation major from an FAA-approved university (with proof of completion).
– Commercial Pilot Certificate earned through the university’s Part 141 program.
– Must have multi-engine and instrument ratings.
– Must have 1,250+ total hours (excluding simulator and/or flight engineer time).
– Must have a minimum:
– 750 hours fixed wing
– 200 hours cross-country
– 250 hours fixed wing PIC
– 100 hours night
– 75 hours instrument
– 25 hours of actual multi-engine flying
Minimum Qualifications – Restricted ATP (1,000 Hours)
– Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
– Bachelor’s degree in an aviation major from an FAA-approved university (with proof of completion).
– Commercial Pilot Certificate earned through the university’s Part 141 program.
– Must have multi-engine and instrument ratings.
– Must have 1,000+ total hours (excluding simulator and/or flight engineer time).
– Must have a minimum:
– 750 hours fixed wing
– 200 hours cross-country
– 250 hours fixed wing PIC
– 100 hours night
– 75 hours instrument
– 25 hours of actual multi-engine flying
Minimum Qualifications – Military Restricted ATP (750 Hours)
– Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
– Must be a military pilot.
– Must have current service or a DD-214 with an honorable discharge.
– Must have 250 hours fixed wing PIC.
Rotor/Power Lift
You must have the following fixed-wing aircraft time:
– 250 PIC or SIC acting as PIC
– 100 PIC cross-country
– 25 PIC night
– 25 hours multi in an airplane
Minimum Qualifications – All Pilot Positions
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Must have the knowledge, skills, and ability to upgrade to Captain within a very short period.
– Must maintain pilot training history according to the Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996 (PRIA).
– Must hold a current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
– Must hold a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
– Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid U.S. driver’s license.
– Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid passport.
– Must be able to travel to and from the United States without restrictions.
– Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
– Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
– Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Preferred Qualifications
– U.S. Part 121 experience.
– 500+ hours fixed wing multi-engine.
– Graduate of a Part 141 university.
