With Omni, you set your own hours, earn up to $20 per hour, and try something new. You’ll provide customer service for Fortune 500 companies by taking inbound phone calls, responding to chat messages, and replying to emails.

You’ll interact with customers by phone and/or chat/email, helping them with whatever they need.

Scheduling & Hours
Contractors supporting Omni’s clients can choose their own schedules by self-scheduling in 30- or 60-minute blocks. You decide when and how often you provide services. The more hours you work, the more you can earn.

As a 1099 contractor, you set your own schedule—choose your own hours. Take control of your work by stepping away from the 9-to-5 and joining the gig economy.

What You’ll Do

  • Work from home or any quiet place with a closed door
  • Choose when and how often you want to work
  • Respond to chats, emails, and customer calls
  • Help customers quickly with effective solutions
  • Solve problems creatively
  • Document details of calls and customer interactions in the appropriate systems
  • Type and speak at the same time
  • Manage multiple systems, programs, and screens at once

Who You Are

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can type 30 WPM or more
  • Good computer skills, including typing and navigating systems
  • Comfortable showing empathy and staying patient with difficult callers

*Earning Potential
Earnings may vary by project, but all projects pay you for the time spent talking on the phone and helping customers (unlike other gig companies—we pay for available time). You may also receive performance-based pay and other incentives. Earnings depend on factors such as hours worked, the project, and the type of support provided.

As a self-employed 1099 Independent Contractor providing work-from-home customer support, you are responsible for your own tax obligations. Actual earnings may vary depending on the campaign, call type, call volume, and other factors. Independent Contractors are responsible for expenses and have control over their own income.
