As a Customer Service Advisor, you are the first point of contact for customer questions. You will provide accurate, timely, complete, and consistent global customer support through phone, email, and web-based inquiries. This role requires broad knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet’s products and services, along with specialized expertise in certain areas. Your goal is to deliver the best possible customer experience while maintaining efficiency and quality at all times.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide accurate, timely, complete, and consistent global customer support via phone, email, and web-based channels for Dun & Bradstreet customers, including customers, sales representatives, and third-party customers.
– Escalate complex, high-impact, or non-standard cases to Tier 2 or the appropriate teams.
– Ensure all interactions are documented accurately in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
– Take ownership of each interaction and be responsible for fully resolving customer issues while maintaining high CSAT and meeting operational performance standards.
– Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional service by listening empathetically, identifying and defining customer needs, and providing solutions that meet those needs.
– Manage and de-escalate difficult calls effectively, and deliver resolutions that result in high customer satisfaction.
– Build and maintain knowledge of D&B products, services, data supply chain, customer service tools, procedures, and technology.
– Maintain a high level of professionalism and develop positive rapport with every customer.
– Improve the company’s results by solving problems and turning frustrated customers into repeat customers.
– Update customer information in the customer service system/CRM during and after each call.
**Essential Skills and/or Qualifications:**
– A Bachelor’s degree is required.
– Previous experience in customer service or a customer-facing role is an advantage.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, the ability to ask probing questions, empathy-building, situational awareness, adaptability, problem-solving, and a team-oriented approach are preferred.
– Contact center and CRM experience is preferred.
– Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
– Detail- and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in ambiguous situations.
– Analytical skills to handle complex issues and uncertainties.
– Must have flexible availability to work.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
– Demonstrate an ownership mindset: solve problems, stay curious, take initiative, and actively look for ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams to drive success.
– Maintain a continuous growth mindset—keep learning through experiences and relationships with stakeholders, experts, colleagues, and mentors, and expand skills through formal courses and programs.
– Fluency in English.
In line with Polish pay transparency requirements, candidates will receive information about remuneration for this role at an appropriate stage of the recruitment process and before employment is finalized. Final compensation decisions for base salary and other benefits will depend on factors including skill sets, experience, qualifications, training, education, location, and any other legally permitted criteria. Successful candidates will also be eligible for D&B’s benefits package.
