We’re looking for a VP of Marketing to work alongside our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to create a buzz around the Phylum team and lead our branding and GTM efforts.

About You

Excited about our purpose to fuel innovation in the Cybersecurity & Application Security market
Proven B2B marketing leader with a track record of building high performing teams (8-10+ years marketing experience or equivalent)
Background in SaaS required; experience in Cybersecurity or technology solutions highly desirable
Comfortable in owning the full marketing lifecycle from research to positioning, promotion, and metrics
Capable of leading data driven marketing activities through various methods (ABM, BDR support, paid, event-based) and tools (Hubspot, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc)
Effective people manager and influencer, both internally and with external vendors and partners
Effective at securing cross-functional support and alignment
Will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
Data and results driven, focused on driving leads, pipeline, and ARR growth
Hands on – we expect you to drive marketing strategy for the org and lead execution as the organization grows

What You’ll Do:

Work with Phylum leadership to define and execute marketing programs that drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and revenue growth.
Lead all marketing efforts to position the Phylum brand through events, experiential, and social marketing strategies
Create omni-channel to maximize company coverage and brand reach
Collaborate with the CRO to coordinate and execute on an aligned strategy encompassing marketing across brand, product, demand generation and sales, and customers
Develop growth strategies via thought leadership and partnership with Engineering, Product, and other Phylum leaders.
Develop and deploy campaigns (e.g., email marketing, media planning, budget management, creative development, tracking, reporting, optimization, and innovation).
Drive data-based analysis and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business
Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to determine ROI and prioritize resources future growth marketing initiatives
Be one of the first 25 people in a growing company on an amazing team

Compensation

Competitive salary commensurate with VP/Director level experience ($200-225k)
