This UIM Consulting SME position enables the candidate to excel at being an OSS Architect and provides an opportunity to work on multiple Oracle Communications OSS Stack of products.
Detailed Job Description and Requirements
An experienced telecom consulting professional who has prior Design & Development working experience on Oracle UIM & related tools & technologies.
Operates independently to provide quality Design & implementation work products on UIM oriented solution.
4-6 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years telecom consulting experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
Required Qualifications
Should be familiar with the UIM Inventory Managers such as Telephone Number Manager, Equipment Manager, etc
Able to convert the Technical Design Document into UIM cartridges using Design Studio
Should have good knowledge of UIM PSR model & be able to model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge
Should be able to develop rulesets, extension points, etc in the cartridge
Should be able to perform data migration of entities from external inventory systems to UIM using scripts, rulesets, etc
Familiarity with one or more Tech Packs such as GSM Mobile Tech Pack, Metro Ethernet Services, etc & should be able to extend the above mentioned tech packs to meet customer requirements
Conceptual model, Reference Implementation, RSDOD & SR2B implementation knowledge is an added advantage.
Should be able to develop web-services cartridges in order to provide an automated interface to UIM for the cartridges that are modeled
Technical Skills – Good skill in JAVA, J2EE, SOAP, HTTP, SSH, TCP/IP, TELNET, CORBA, RMI, LDAP, JMS, SSL, SNMP, SQL, XSLT, XQUERY, XML, Drools, WebLogic Administration, Bridging and SAF configurations, Oracle RDBMS, PLSQL programming.
