Are you a detail‑oriented professional with excellent listening and transcription skills? Welo Data is launching a new project and is looking for qualified individuals to join our team as transcribers. In this remote role, you will accurately convert audio files into text and enrich them with meaningful tags and timestamps. Your responsibilities:
– Listen to audio files in the target language and transcribe them accurately.
– Add timestamps to align the text with the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other metadata to enhance project quality.
– Ensure that transcriptions are culturally accurate and appropriately reflect tone and meaning.
– Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistency and quality.
– Follow transcription guidelines, formatting requirements, and deadlines.

Project details
Workload: Flexible, at least 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 depending on availability).
Contract type: Freelance / Independent contractor
Location: Remote
Language: Indonesian
Compensation: 25 USD per hour

Requirements:
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus good English skills.
– Experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic tasks is highly preferred.
– Ability to identify regional accents, emotional cues, and context in audio recordings.
– Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to quality.
– Experience with transcription tools/software, including timestamps and tags.
– Ability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high‑quality work.
