Mercor is partnering with a premier AI research lab to refine multimodal machine learning, bringing together visual and audio understanding. We need detail-oriented freelancers to review short media clips and compare AI outputs. This is a short-term, remote role with flexible hours. Your evaluations will help improve the accuracy and reliability of state-of-the-art AI.

Eligibility

Candidates must be based in the United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia.

Responsibilities

• Review audio, image, and video items for clarity and quality.

• Select the top-performing AI output according to the criteria provided.

• Contribute tags and annotations to support training and benchmarking.

• Follow project standards to ensure consistent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (native or near-native).

• Precise attention to detail and clear written communication.

• Reliable adherence to instructions and project metrics.

• Comfortable working independently on focused, repetitive tasks.

Engagement & Schedule

• Remote and asynchronous; choose a schedule that works for you.

• Contract-based role intended for a limited timeframe.

• Hours may vary based on the availability of tasks.

Compensation & Contract

• The rate of pay is $16 per hour for time spent on tasks.

• Payments are made weekly using Stripe Connect.

• The role is offered on an independent contractor basis.
