We are seeking a skilled Thai Linguist to join our Linguistics team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing linguistic resources to support a wide range of customer-facing products. Your expertise in Thai will help shape how this language is represented across our platforms, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and cultural relevance.

You will work to build and maintain high-quality Thai language assets aligned with Lightcast standards, and contribute to the development of new features that enhance user experiences.

This is a Contract role for 6 to 9 months in length

Major Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Thai linguistic resources (e.g., lexicons, grammar rules, taxonomies)
• Improve data quality for multilingual text classifiers
• Translate and localize taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations
• Annotate data for model training and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support language integration and feature development
• Ensure all Thai language assets meet Lightcast quality standards

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, NLP, or a related field
• Fluency in Thai – Additional language skills are a plus
• Ability to analyze language data for machine learning use
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
