**Pay:** $27.61–$41.41 per hour, based on relevant experience
**Summary:**
The Remote EEG Technologist provides real-time monitoring of continuous and intermittent EEG recordings, detects abnormalities, alerts the supervising neurologist and other members of the care team, and edits studies when necessary. The ideal candidate is a reliable, driven, and experienced neurodiagnostics professional who can work independently and deliver accurate monitoring.
**Responsibilities:**
– Demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal adult EEG patterns
– Differentiate artifacts from genuine cortical activity
– Monitor, identify, and edit EEG abnormalities accurately
– Complete daily cEEG logs and documentation in line with industry standards and company policies
– Operate EEG equipment competently and troubleshoot as needed
– Use basic computer systems and complete data entry
– Understand medical terminology, ACNS EEG terminology, and common neurodiagnostics abbreviations
– Communicate professionally with hospital staff, neurologists, and other remote technologists
**Requirements:**
– Associate degree or completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist program, or a high school diploma/GED with one registry
– Registered EEG Technician (REEGT) certification from ABRET
– Minimum of 1 year of EEG experience
– BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR for the Professional Rescuer) required before the start date and valid for at least 60 days after hire
