The Technical Team Lead should possess a wide range of technical knowledge and will be expected to spend a significant portion of your time actively designing, developing and reviewing code.
Primary Functions:
Translating business goals & product requirements into actionable development plans.
Ensuring that development projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Strategic planning, direction and control of product development activities; as well as technical input into the overall business strategy.
Communicating strategy developments, providing ongoing executive updates, prioritizing initiatives, and escalating roadblocks to executive leadership.
Communicating development progress and issues to management and across the organization.
Proactively fostering and building channels of communication across business units to ensure collaboration and achievement of organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Experience with SaaS products and multi-tenant architectures
Experience with agile processes such as Scrum
Strong architectural/design skills with the ability to lead a project to completion
Solid understanding of how web apps/servers and distributed system work
Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming
Demostrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
