The opportunity
This is a job where you will be challenged on a daily basis. You are encouraged to bring your own ideas with you and to think outside the box. You will be responsible for the quality of the software and making sure it runs properly. You will be working on the technical analysis, documentation and maintenance of any errors found.
What we are looking for
You have a degree/traineeship in IT (e.g. IT specialist in system integration) and at least 2 years experience in a similar Linux-related field
Alternatively you have experience in Linux system administration or technical support
The quality of your work is important to you and you enjoy using your creativity and analytical skills to make improvements and come up with ideas
You work independently and in a structured manner and have no problems settling in
You have no problems communicating in either English or German
Our Incident Team works in shifts so it is important that you are flexible and can work night shifts on a rotating basis
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the monitoring of our business processes as well as for problem analysis, trouble-shooting and documentation
You analyse complex software errors, coming up with solutions and work closely together with the 2nd Level Incident Manager in implementing the solutions/changes
You are responsible for monitoring checks, carrying these out on a regular basis
Experience with eCommerce software and related business processes is of an advantage
