Summary
The Technical Data Integration Consultant (TDIC) is accountable for service delivery of data integrations between DIGARC’s solutions and our client’s Student Information System (SIS), as well as other client applications. This role will define and refine the scope of work for integration projects, provide project and change management, data and business rule discovery and alignment, and documentation of the client’s environment. This role will operate in an Agile services implementation process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as primary point of contact for scheduling, scope confirmation, documentation and delivering and/or receiving materials of integration projects from clients
Establish and maintain a deep understanding of DIGARC software and professional services offerings
Work with clients to pre-verify the data elements needed from the SIS
Document client business rules applicable to the SIS environment
Create data integration maps applicable for bi-directional owners identifying correlations
Determine the synchronous/asynchronous communication relationship between the SIS and DIGARC
Create a detail scope confirmation and generate documentation for integration bolt-on gaps and/or the development of custom integration plug-ins as needed
Document the data dictionary that defines the client’s customized environment and all data requirements between systems
Partner with SIS technical data engineers and software developers to ensure that projects remain within pre-defined scope throughout development sprints
Troubleshoots integration configuration, SQL, XML, JSON data as anticipatory measures for data and communication impediments
Guide clients using a change control process to minimize project scope creep
Performs pretest, creates test plan for user acceptance testing for the client, and reviews and documents testing errors and process
Provide clients with data cleansing opportunities as a result of the data discovery process
Responsible for serving as a resource answering questions related to the client projects
Provide client support until activation and completion of the project

Education and Experience:
B. S. in Business or related discipline highly desired
3 years in a Data Integrations role
At least 3 years of experience with APIs, JSON, XML and SQL
Strong project management and client relations skills
