Piton Labs is looking to hire a dedicated Business Development Representative as we enter our next phase of expansion. In this inaugural role, you will play a key part in growing our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates based in time zones between GMT‑8 (United States – West Coast) and GMT‑3 are preferred, though other applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—supported by our founding team. While you don’t need deep technical expertise, a solid understanding of software development and the technology sector will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.

Your core responsibilities include:
– Identify and reach out to new prospects
– Represent Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for our primary markets (startups and corporate innovation)
– Collaborate with the engineering team to translate customer needs and insights
– Build strong client relationships and maintain them through regular communication
– Deliver presentations and product demos that clearly show how we solve customer problems

**About You**
You’re enthusiastic, with strong business development experience. You naturally build and sustain relationships—and you stand out because you:
– Take ownership: you want to oversee the full process and help guide the company’s growth
– Build relationships: you’re skilled at forming partnerships and turning knowledge into customers
– Think strategically: you understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
– Understand technology: you’re not an engineer, but you know the digital landscape well enough to explain our value clearly

**General Requirements**
– Fluent English
– At least four years of business development experience, preferably in a technical environment
– Proven track record of generating new leads

**Remote Work Policy**
– Fully remote, with no physical office
– Preferably applicants based in the United States with work authorization
– Candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay will also be considered
– Ability to overlap with Eastern Time for 4–6 hours most days
– Ideal for digital nomads who don’t need a fixed workspace
