Ideal candidates will have:

• Expertise in AWS security groups, VPC networking deployment and firewall administration
• Ability to monitor system performance to detect load fluctuations and system failures in mission critical systems
• Understanding of backup schedules, production software deployment and system failover procedures
• Optimizing system specifications for performance, reliability and failover capacity
• Experience with scripting software installation and configuration using chef, puppet or similar system
• Knowledge of distributed computing platforms
• Desire to move systems towards clean re-launchability without manual tweaks
• Experience administrating systems that have high levels of throughput
• 3 years of experience working with AWS deployments
