dv01 is bringing visibility to the world’s largest financial market: structured finance. This $16+ trillion sector supports everyday financial activities that enable economic mobility, from consolidating credit card debt and refinancing student loans to purchasing homes and launching small businesses.

dv01’s analytics platform delivers unmatched clarity into investment performance and risk for lenders and Wall Street investors in structured products. As a data-first organization, we transform critical loan information into modern analytical tools that support strategic, responsible lending decisions. In short, we’re helping prevent another 2008-style financial crisis by providing the data and technology needed for smarter, data-driven choices and a safer global economy.

Over 400 major financial institutions rely on dv01 for insights across more than 75 million loans, including mortgages, personal loans, auto loans, buy-now-pay-later programs, small business financing, and student loans. dv01 continues to grow into new markets, adding fresh loan data every month and developing innovative tools for the structured products ecosystem.

You Will:

– Work at the forefront of structured finance and technology, playing a key role in dv01’s rapid expansion in capital markets and structured finance while combining your expertise with advanced technology.
– Deepen your structured finance knowledge by engaging with many aspects of the ABS and RMBS markets through loan-level data, deal documents, trustee reports, and more.
– Strengthen your technical abilities by collaborating closely with engineering teams to develop and deploy solutions for clients and internal users. If you’re new to analytical tools beyond Excel, you’ll learn them quickly here.
– Interact directly with clients, including hedge funds, banks, and asset originators, delivering reporting and analytics that support their internal workflows.

You Are:

– Comfortable with financial concepts and data. Experience with loan-level servicing data and securitizations is a plus but not mandatory.
– Confident working with large datasets. You are skilled in Excel and ready to use or learn R for ad-hoc analysis, with strong motivation to advance technically.
– Skilled at drawing insights from data. You can identify key metrics and transaction details in financial statements and reports, and you’re willing to dive into loan-level data to uncover answers.
– Detail-oriented, focused, and able to balance multiple workstreams while maintaining a broad perspective. You communicate your findings clearly both internally and with clients.

Our good-faith salary range for this position is $80,000–$100,000, though we are not strictly bound to it. Final compensation will depend on experience, expertise, and other business factors.

Our team is powered by diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to continuous learning. We’re passionate about building a product people love and a culture where everyone can thrive.

Benefits & Perks:

– Unlimited PTO, giving you the freedom to recharge however you choose.
– A $1,000 Learning & Development Fund to support conferences, classes, workshops, and employee-led learning events.
– A remote-first environment that lets you work from wherever you’re most productive.
– Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus a 401(k).
– A free Equinox membership or a $1,650 annual fitness stipend for the wellness option that suits you best, including at-home equipment like a Peloton.
– Generous new family leave: 12 weeks of fully paid leave for primary caregivers and 3 weeks for secondary caregivers, with flexible support upon return.
