Vantage Sports is looking akiller full stack developer to join a small team hacking the sports/esports world. In a nutshell, we collect a vast amount of sports-related data (which nobody else has or can get) and use it to power a number of analysis products that we sell to professional franchises, media outlets, and fans. We’ve been very well-received in the NBA and are now expanding into the growing eSports world.

We’re an engineering-focused company trying to replicate the best parts of our former employers (Google, Microsoft, etc), building small cross-functional teams that own the stack top-to-bottom.

We’re funded, but not bloated. Operation efficiency is very important to us. We all wear a lot of hats. After all, we believe that 3 well-equipped software wizards are worth 20 marginal ‘contract’ coders. We believe that it’s a fantastic time to be a software developer with the tools available at our disposal – and that we’re truly the architects of our future. We believe in code quality, automating-the-everything, and deploying every single commit. Our tech stack is our bread and butter. It’s a Dockerized microservice architecture running in Kubernetes clusters. Most APIs are written in Go. Our frontends are javascript-heavy (mostly-React-based) web apps.
