Welo Data is launching an exciting project and is looking for talented individuals to join our team as **Transcribers**. This remote role involves transcribing audio recordings accurately and adding meaningful context through tagging and timestamps. **What you will do:**
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and transcribe content with high accuracy.
– Include timestamps in your transcriptions to match the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to improve project outputs.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and accurately reflect tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
– Meet deadlines and follow specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.

**Project Details**
– **Commitment:** Flexible; at least 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).
– **Job Type:** Freelance / Independent Contractor

– **Language:** Spanish (Caribbean)
– **Pay Rate:** $30/hour

**Requirements:**
– Native-level or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus strong English proficiency.
– Previous experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is highly preferred.
– Ability to recognize and distinguish regional dialects, emotions, and contextual signals in audio.
– Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver error-free work.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software and experience using timestamps and tagging.
– Availability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality results.
