Welo Data is launching an exciting project and is looking for talented individuals to join our team as **Transcribers**. This remote role involves accurately transcribing audio recordings and adding meaningful context through tagging and timestamps. **What you’ll do:**
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and transcribe the content with high accuracy.
– Add timestamps to the transcriptions so they match the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to improve project outcomes.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and reflect the tone and meaning accurately.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
– Meet deadlines and follow specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.

**Project details**
– **Commitment:** Flexible; at least 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).

**Requirements:**
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, plus excellent English skills.
– Prior experience in transcription, translation, or language projects is highly valued.
– Ability to recognize and distinguish regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in the audio.
– Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to deliver error-free work.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software and experience using timestamps and tagging.
– Availability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality results.
