A Solution Architect at Confluence creates and maintains the architectural specifications of the product and ensures the success of the product by designing the foundations on which value can be realized. This person works within a cross-functional team that includes Product Owners, Development, Quality Assurance and User Experience to define the logical and physical composition of Confluence’s products. This includes defining both the organizational structure of the application and the physical structure of its deployment. The Solution Architect is responsible for capturing and delivering Quality of Service requirements such as maintainability, extensibility and scalability.
Essential Responsibilities
Design and develop technology software products
Create workflow models
Perform product testing and create prototypes
Develop software architecture and design specifications from software requirements
Responsible for the architectural decomposition of Confluence’s solutions including the definition of applications, subsystems, components, frameworks, and APIs
Works with Product Owners and User Experience to understand business needs
Initiates and takes responsibility for timely completion of software tasks, initiates alternative task paths or work-around when problems are encountered
Leads, educates and inspires others to transform their vision into a commercial product
Provide innovation by focusing creative spirit on solving market problems by leveraging the company’s distinctive competencies
