Zadara is looking for an excellent software student to join the Storage Core engineering team and be a part of an elite team that delivers fully managed edge cloud services including storage, compute and networking.
As a student in the Storage Core team you will have the opportunity to work with the senior and most talented engineers in the team, developing the major components that build Zadara’s edge cloud solution. You will gain experience in heterogeneous development environments such as C/C++, Python, Golang and would be exposed to advanced technologies such as Virtualization, Object Storage, Compute, Containers, Kubernetes, Micro-Services and many more.
Your day to day:

    • Work as part of a cross geographic agile team, working in high velocity, and delivering great quality.
    • Work closely with our Product team and chief architect to design new enhancements and/or improve product stability and performance.
    • Develop and expand features within our storage product to improve their robustness, performance and security.
    • Work closely with the QA engineers to enhance our white box automation testing.
What you bring :

    • Grades average of at least 80.
    • Strong in C/C++ programming skills.
    • Hands-on experience in multithreaded programming and distributed systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be Independent, creative, focused, and organized.
    • High motivation to work in a dynamic and innovative startup.
    • Willingness to work from our office Yokneam.
Your education:

    • Studying for a BSc/BA in computer science/SW engineering from a well-known university.
    • Up to one year from completing your academic duties.
Nice to haves:

    • Experience with Python programming and/or Shell scripting.
    • Knowledge of Linux OS and POSIX programming.
